脉冲激光(LASER)电源性能主要指标(target aim)

脉冲激光电源性能主要指标

激光电源是激光器配件的能源(解释:向自然界提供能量转化的物质),它向激光器配件提供泵浦(pump)能量,控制(control)激光输出强弱和重复(repeat)频率(frequency)。半导激光配件,这类激光器配件是以一定的半导体材料作工作物质而产生受激发射作用,其原理是通过一定的激励方式(电注入、光泵或高能电子束注入),在半导体物质的能带之间或能带与杂质能级之间,通过激发非平衡载流子而实现粒子数反转,从而产生光的受激发射作用。固体激光配件,这类激光器配件所采用的工作物质,是通过把能够产生受激辐射作用的金属离子掺入晶体或玻璃基质中构成发光中心而制成的。因此,激光电源是激光器配件必不可少的重要组成部分。早期的脉冲激光电源,如谐振充电型或LC恒流充电型激光电源,都是用工频交流变压(气压变量)器进行升压,并 实现对电网的隔离。由于工频交流变压器(Transformer)体大笨重,人们从七十年代开始研制开 关型电源。它是将工频交流整流成直流,再用开关功率(指物体在单位时间内所做的功的多少)变换方法,将直流逆变成 高频(Induction Heating)交流,通过高频变压器进行升压,与电网隔离之后进行整流,给储能电容器 充电,最后经氙(xian)灯放电给激光器配件提供泵浦能量。由于高频变压器的体积(volume)和重量远 小于同等容量的工频变压器,因此,整个激光电源的体积和重量大大减小。同时,由于频率的提高,每周期给储能电容器充电少,通过充电电压的控制,使充电电压实现稳定(解释:稳固安定;没有变动)可调,从而大大提高了激光输出的稳定性(The stability of)。

脉冲激光电源性能主要指标:

1、每次脉冲能量 如:25J。固体激光配件,这类激光器配件所采用的工作物质,是通过把能够产生受激辐射作用的金属离子掺入晶体或玻璃基质中构成发光中心而制成的。半导激光配件,这类激光器配件是以一定的半导体材料作工作物质而产生受激发射作用,其原理是通过一定的激励方式(电注入、光泵或高能电子束注入),在半导体物质的能带之间或能带与杂质能级之间,通过激发非平衡载流子而实现粒子数反转,从而产生光的受激发射作用。

2、脉冲重复频率可调 如:最大为40Hz,

3、额定输出功率(指物体在单位时间内所做的功的多少) 如:l000W。气体激光配件,它们所采用的工作物质是气体,并且根据气体中真正产生受激发射作用之工作粒子性质的不同,而进一步区分为原子气体激光器配件、离子气体激光器配件、分子气体激光器配件、准分子气体激光器配件等。

4、输出激光能量稳定度 如:大于95%,

5、输出激光延时稳定度 如:±1μs。

Laser power supply is the energy source of laser accessories (interpretation: to provide the substance of energy conversion to nature), it provides pump energy to laser accessories, and controls the intensity and repeat frequency of laser output. Semiconductor laser fittings, which are stimulated by a certain semiconductor material as working material, are based on the principle of exciting unbalanced carriers between the energy bands of semiconductor materials or between the energy bands and impurity levels through a certain excitation mode (electric injection, optical pump or high-energy electron beam injection). In order to generate the stimulated emission of light, the inversion of particle number is realized. Solid-state laser accessories, the working substance used in such laser accessories, are made by incorporating metal ions capable of generating stimulated radiation into crystals or glass substrates to form luminescent centers. Early pulsed laser power supply, such as resonant charging or LC constant current charging, used power frequency AC voltage converter (pneumatic variable) to boost voltage and isolate the power grid. Since the power frequency AC transformer (Transformer) is bulky, switching power supply has been developed since the 1970s. It converts power frequency AC rectifier into DC, then converts DC into Induction Heating by switching power (referring to the amount of work done in a unit time). It boosts voltage through high frequency transformer, rectifies after isolation from power grid, charges energy storage capacitor, and finally discharges Xenon lamp. The pump power is supplied to the laser accessories. Because the volume and weight of the high frequency transformer are much smaller than that of the power frequency transformer with the same capacity, the volume and weight of the whole laser power supply are greatly reduced. At the same time, due to the increase of frequency, the storage capacitor is charged less every cycle. Through the control of charging voltage, the charging voltage can be adjusted stably, which greatly improves the stability of laser output.

Main performance indexes of pulsed laser power supply:

1, each pulse energy is 25J.
